In the case of folk tales, they are published in two ways: the full text or the partial fragments. Furthermore, as "textbook derived traditional folk tales," combined sales of children's books and picture books on the market have become popular, and there are many children's book publishing projects emphasizing "textbook linkage." On the other hand, publishers are also very conscious of dealing with modern issues. Messages, such as gender-free and diversity-acceptance are also evident in textbook illustrations.
