| 内容記述 | Bang Jeong-hwan played an important role in the publication of the important magazines “Gaebyok,” “Eorini,” and “New Women” in 1920s Korea. Especially in “Eorini” and “New Women” , he was responsible for editing magazines and wrote many articles. These magazines are positioned as important publications in the modern history of Korea because they enlightened Korean society. In this paper, I read the texts of Bang Jeong-hwan published in those magazines and examined his view of children. As symbolically expressed in his text “Children＇s Praise,” Bang Jeong-hwan＇s view of children is consistent with the concept of Cheondoism, which was an important religion in modern Korea. At the same time, it also had the character of the children＇s movement, which originated from the history of Cheondoism systematically expanding nationwide. | |||||
