| 内容記述 | In May 1922, Children’s Day events were held in both Korea and Japan. The Children’s Day in Korea was an anti-colonial, independence, and ethnic movement, aiming to liberate the oppressed peoples and children. On the other hand, the Children’s Day held in Japan was a nationalistic event, desiring for strong children in order to strengthen its national power, which is symbolized by Iwaya Sazanami’s catchphrase, “Children are truly our great national treasure,” as well as by the display of warrior dolls and armor. |
