| 内容記述 | Currently, most of the works of children's literature in Korean elementary school textbooks are contemporary works by Korean writers. The contents tend to include a wide range of themes on real social issues. Global warming, the abandonment of the elderly, racism, gender politics, multiethnic society, online bullying, issues of diversity and inclusion, and North-South divisions, etc. This is a trend not limited to textbooks. Korean children's literature has a strong tendency toward social participation. One of the major characteristics of contemporary Korean children's literature is the promotion of social participation. Such literature considers the future of children who must live in a multicultural society, a society that pursues sustainability, and a global digital network society. |
